During the 1990s, KRKO survived a variety of formats from Adult Contemporary to Oldies to conservative talk and eventually to entertainment talk. It was a wild ride with many changes.

KRKO featured a Saturday morning auction and a weekday program known as PriceBusters for several years. Here, news director Renae O'Keefe (left), account manager Colleen Good (right), and an unnamed host are handling the calls for the auction items. Mike Purdy, the "early birdie," was well known local personality who went on to KOMO 1000 in Seattle. Special thanks to Mike for providing this image.
